Hatred, like a wound is as an engraving upon the soul.
As the wound engraves a mark upon the body, so does hatred engrave strife within the heart.
As it grows into a sore, so does hatred build a fortress of animosity, of pain, of grief and of hopelessness, being helpless in your situation, and not having or knowing anything to do about it nor have a feasible solution to the situation.
As a sore attracts flies and other insects, oozing out the pores, so does hatred attract insults, repulsion, detest and casting away. It affects your attitude and cause people to avoid you with a passion.
It takes the sincere caring of the heart in love to tend the wound, disdaining the foul and odorous emissions, and to administer treatment in a bid to effect healing.
Without this, the wound remains, with the pain, the shame and the ridiculousness of it all.
If you need to be rid of this wound or hurt as the case may be, you need to show some love for yourself as well as for others.
Likewise, if you need to forget a wrong, you need to approach it with love.
If you need to be happy, you need not hate.
If you need to forget anything or anyone as the case may be, you must not hate.
If you need to live in peace with everyone, you dare not hate.
Everyone or everything you hate remain engraved upon your heart.
In order to show love and affection, you need to eschew hatred and learn to accommodate or live with various idiosyncrasies. These are peculiar to the individual as it is even to you.
If others are wrong, have you ever asked yourself if you could ever have been wrong? What are your own peculiar idiosyncracies?
Maybe, as you see others, so they see you. So, who will make the world or the society a better place to live in?
I think you should take the first bold step to eradicate hatred, lay the foundation for forgiveness and build a lasting structure which is grounded in love.
Develop the attitude that you have a lesson to learn from every novel situation. Whatever hurt you bear helps you to have a better understanding of the person, teaches you a lesson and helps you to become a better person.
Let go of the seed of hate, cast it out, and with faith, embrace the virtues of Christian living, develop the spirit to forgive, to forbear and to forget – always ready to smile and make a new start.
If you need to be happy and to live in peace and harmony all around you, embrace LOVE!!!

Remain blessed,

Rising Storm

Sometimes God closes all doors and shuts all the windows. During those times, think that there may be a STORM outside and He wants you kept SAFE within. Be Positive.
Remember the days of Noah, how he was detested, mocked and abused. He maintained his focus on doing the will of God. He completed the building of the Ark and when the storm and the rains were to come, he was shut up in the Ark all through the period.
And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. (Ge 7:17)
What is it that you are passing through that you think your situation is out of the ordinary? What are you facing that others have not passed through?
Could it be as demoralizing as the case of Job who, despite his predicament affirms “I know that my Redeemer liveth and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth” (Job 19:25).
Can it be compared with the dehumanizing case of Paul, who suffered so much during his sojourn on earth? (2Cor 11:23-30)
Learn from them. .  .
1Co 9:24 says that we should run the race that we may obtain. I pray for you. . . May you obtain mercy, may you receive grace, peace and prosperity in Jesus name. . .
Maintain your focus with FAITH. . .
Heb. 12:1 compels us to lay aside every weight (problems) and the sin which easily beset us, and, run with patience the race that is set before us.
Every weight you bear slows your speed in a race. It takes you longer to arrive at the finish line. You have to contend with hanging on to the weight so it does not drop off. You concentrate on the weight or load instead of the race before you. . . Many do not make it to the finish line.
He who bears the weight of grudges, murmurings, hatred, disgust, anger, frustration and the like will find it difficult to achieve happiness, peace and love which we all crave for. They bear the yoke of being unhappy because they care much about the words or actions of other people.
Shed the weight! Press on towards the goal of eternity and I assure you that your life will be a testimony that “Weeping may endure for a night but JOY cometh in the morning” (Ps 30:5-6).
The dawn of your morning is just a few moments away. . . Endure it. . Fight it through. . . Never give in to the devil. . Your relief comes during your waking moments. . . . I Congratulate you in advance. . .
I look forward to witness you sharing your testimonies with thanksgiving by the time you wake up in the MORNING.
It shall be a new dawn of prosperity with the echoes of new songs on your lips in Jesus name. (3John 1:2)

Remain blessed!!!

A Call For Repentance

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2Chro 7:14)

As He had been in the beginning, so He is now and so shall He remain forever. . . His arms of judgment remain steadfast. Though, He gives time for repentance that He may be justified when He speaks and clear when He judges. (Ps 51:4).

Pharaoh contended and perished in the sea which he set up to trap the Lord’s chosen.                       (Ex 14:28; 15:4).

Herman was hanged upon the gallows which he raised for Mordecai. (Est 7:10).

Nebuchadnezzar was condemned to the wild by virtue of his attitude, pride and arrogance           (Dan 4:33-37).

Gehazi lost his place for greed and disobedience. (2Ki 5:21-27).

Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. were buried alive because they did contrary to the will of God, raising up a strange fire.       (Num 16:19-40).

Ananias and Saphira died for greed and deceit. (Acts 5:1-10).

The list is endless. . . You will say that is in the past. . . What about today:-

  1. Someone sank a whole vessel loaded with Bibles and he was sunk before he was able to celebrate, even at the pinnacle of his success.
  2. A country ruler purposed to trade a whole country to a religion which was not according to God’s chosen design and his life was cut short in the prime of his days in the morning of the day he was to sign the deal.
  3. A terrorist leader followed the same path, he slept and never woke up to see the hour he was scheduled to sign the deal. He was buried unsung and his memories perished with him.
  4. A country head of state became intoxicated with power that he devised transitional strategies to succeed himself. He was however lucky because he applied his heart unto wisdom. He studied the lives and administrations of his predecessors, He was able to discern the handwriting on the wall and overnight, before the Angel of vengeance caught up with him, he quickly stepped aside. Today, his riches are being squandered by opportunists who give him false hopes of victory at future elections. He travels the globe in search of a cure for an ailment which otherwise could have been managed within his country had he sustained the health for all agenda of his electioneering/ acceptability campaign. He is not too free to travel or move around any of the cities without armed escorts for fear of insecurity. That was the way he built up the country while he was the head of state. Now he himself lives within the chaos he has put in place.
  5. A field Marshall and head of state who lived a life of cannibalism and despotism was pulled down within a day by the hands of God through an external army and he fled into a strange land. He fled and was banished. He never returned home till he died.

*So funny that some would provide shelter to people whom all religions preach that such should be condemned and stoned to death in the outskirts of the city (Lev 20:27)

What baffles me is that despite the condemnation of certain acts by virtually all religions of this world, some religious sects or states still find a place to accommodate such despotic tyrants in the name of political asylum.*

What is this world turning into? Is this God’s design for the world?

It is time to search within you. What do you do and you think no one sees? What attitude do you exhibit and you think you are the best of all? What thoughts do you harbor and you think you can translate it to actions without anyone questioning you? . . . .

The Bible says “Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?

He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? He that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know? The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. (Ps 94:8-11)

Ps 130:3 says “If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?”

While you think no one sees, the silent judge of all creation has already passed judgment on you and the effects have started its manifestation in your life. – Please read the book of Exodus 22 as well as Deut. 27.

There is always a repercussion for every act of omission, commission or negligence. May the Lord open the eyes of your understanding!

The reason you are not dead today is because God has graciously and mercifully permitted you an extra time for repentance.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.  (Pr 3:7)

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.  (Ps 34:14)

Can’t you see and discern the handwriting on the wall? Maybe we should try to interpret it for you. ..

  1. Are things not working out for you?
  2. Do people hate or detest you?
  3. Are you being deprived of your right of place?
  4. Do you have feelings of insecurity and death?
  5. Do you experience nightmares and sleepless nights?
  6. Has confusion set in upon you?
  7. Do you dwell in a state of restlessness?
  8. Has anger and bitterness taken the best of you?
  9. Do you feel inferior in the midst of your peers and colleagues?
  10. Are you experiencing delays in marriage.
  11. Do you meet with disappointment at the point of your success?
  12. Are you battling with issues of failed promises? . . . . . Etc. . . .

Hmmm!!! . . . “The evil that men do live after them” – Shakespearean times but in this day an age, “The evil that men do live before them” and passes on to their future generations – i.e – live after them.

How do you cope when you have to see your children bearing the repercussion of your past actions?

How would you feel when you have to be reprimanded for any shameful act or offense in the presence of your family? – Wife, Children or Sibblings?

I shiver at what your answer might be – that is if you are a man of conscience and with dignity enough to acknowledge your faults when it glares you in the face.

It is time to seek the face of the Lord in all circumstances you live to experience.

Pr 16:17 says “The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul”.

Locate that highway, follow it and you shall have escaped from the alley of sin, evil and death and progressed onto locating God and preserving your soul.

Sin sends us far from God and the benefits of being under His grace but by His mercies and by our truth, our iniquity is purged and when we begin to fear and reverence the Lord of Hosts, the spirit man in us causes us to depart from evil

“By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil”.  (Pr 16:6)

I see you struggling to take that bold step right now. . . It is not by power or might but by the grace of God!

Ask for His grace in prayer, building and making your resolve to flee from sin.

It might be difficult but not impossible.

I invite you to register for the next 7 day session of Intercessory Warfare Prayers which begins on Monday 10th -16th November, 2014.

Treasonable Felony

And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.    – (Num 35:32).

There is no two way about it!!! Let us call a spade a spade!!! What is bad is bad!!! How can you argue that an object is white when everyone sees it as black? . . . That is a very high degree of hypocrisy!!! One should be mindful of you! In fact, you should be charged with treason!!!

We tend to give compromise and conform to certain situations in life, allowing the flesh to take control over our lives instead of allowing the spiritual milk of God to guide our thoughts, words and actions.

Constitutions, Laws, Ordinances, Doctrines, Rules, Regulations etc and whatever nomenclature that may be appended take root from Biblical laws and are put in place to keep everyone in check from straying from the accepted norms of behavior and moral ethics.

Anyone who behaves contrary is seen as someone who knows the law and has deliberately flouted it to prove his contempt. Such acts are treasonable and liable to charge.

TREASON is a crime that undermines the offender’s government or the authorities. – Why would you betray someone who endows you with so much trust? Someone under whose benevolence you are permitted the grace of existence.

There are laws, rules and regulations to which everyone is bound. Everyone has accepted that the laws were just and right and they have agreed to abide by them. You are a partaker of the grace as long as you have attested to abide by the laws.

Everyone with one voice agreed to obey the Lord – “And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do”. (Ex 19:8)                     Also in Jos 1:16 they said to Joshua – “All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go.”

TREASON is disloyalty of the highest order by virtue of subversive behavior. The same people who promised God in Ex 19:8 and man in Joshua 1:16 are the same ones who disobeyed and did abominable things which caused four generations to perish in the wilderness without seeing the Promised Land.

Many question the authority of God as placed in the hands of His chosen Vessels by seeking solutions from other sources and getting involved in fetish practices and occultism or bowing down to so-called deities or gods.

Having gone to incur curses and placed themselves under bondage, they now run to the true God for deliverance. Such people are those described in Is 47:6 as those who have heavily laid the yoke of their bondage upon the ancient – aged – (the Elders, Prophets and Ministers of God).

The original can never be compared with the fake. The fake is of the devil which the Bible describes as the thief which cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: whereas the original which is of God confirms that “He is come that we might have life, and that we might have it more abundantly.( Joh 10:10).

TREASON is an act of deliberate betrayal. A lot of people somewhere along the line tend to revolt against the laws most especially when they have erred or intend to do something which they know is not in conformity with the law. Instead of walking away quietly and relieving themselves of the benefits of obedience, they start negative evangelism which they never cared to do earlier. They start peddling rumors, heresy, backbiting, character-assassination, formulating stories and building an atmosphere of confusion, distrust, hatred and animosity. They murder peace, and sow the seed of discord and suspicion. People start accusing others of things which they know nothing about – in fact, it is the seed of destruction.

What do you think you stand to benefit if not for the same fate of condemnation? As you have dealt so cruelly, so also the laws of providence shall deal with you.

People by their actions or intended actions are liable to be brought down. Most often, they do not go down alone. They try to bring other unsuspecting believers down with them.

You can only be above their devices of lies and deception if you abide in the word and in prayers as well as being mindful of the things of the Holy Spirit.

We are but flesh and blood and are prone to err at certain times. To err is human but to forgive is divine.

Instead of acknowledging their faults, some people take pride in finding faults, excuses and apportioning blame. They find comfort within the zones of lies and implicating innocent souls. The Bible says “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Pr 3:5). You do not need to claim right when there is no right to claim.

2Ch 7:14 is explicit enough when it says – “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Because of your deeds, the land has become sick for which God earlier destroyed the earth.  (Gen 7:23)

In Gen 8:21, we are made to understand that the repentant heart smells like a sweet savour which changes the heart of God and makes Him to repent of His intended wrath upon the offenders.

This clarion call therefore goes to every living creature to put away all wickedness, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking, become as newborn babies, longing for spiritual milk which is without guile that you may be worthy of salvation. (1Pet. 2:1-2)

Put away, the corrupt old man, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, whose thoughts are of God, abiding in righteousness, holiness and in truth. (Eph 4:22-24)

The text of our discussion speaks of excommunication which means to exclude or oust someone from a group or membership of a church or a religious community by decree or otherwise. This is in conformity with the Bible.

Some people are excused from continued membership because they no longer believe in the doctrines. The Bible tells us of such category of people “who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” (Rom 1:32)

If however they repent, the arms of love remain wide open to receive them. But while jubilating in their wrongdoing, some other persons put a stab in the back of the authorities by hypocritical acts of treason and betrayal, joining forces with the offender who is placed under excommunication laughing the living God to scorn.

Shall God not see or hear or know? (Ps. 94:9-10) I pity such people on the day of recompense.

God has called you into this marvelous light of His Son – Jesus Christ. Endeavour to abide in Him and He in you and you shall save your soul alive.

God has known you, He has made adequate plans for you regarding your existence upon planet earth. He called you into it to fulfill your destiny. He stands by you in all that you do so that you could be justified and, in doing His will, He has prepared a place of glory for you that you might be glorified. (Rom 8:29-30)

Would you throw all these away for worldly pleasures which are but momentary?

Do you feel yourself being pursued?

Does your inner spirit feel some guilt within?

Do you experience deteriorating standards in your livelihood?

Does your conscience report you to yourself?

These are a few of the effects of subversive behaviour.

You no longer live at peace with yourself.

At this point, you need Jesus in your life to experience total freedom.

I invite you to register for the next session of Intercessory Warfare Prayers beginning on Monday 10th -16th November, 2014.
